Please Support Catch and Release Fishing!
It's one thing to fish for food, and I certainly don't have any problem with that.  But PLEASE release the large fish and eat the smallest ones.  This is good for two reasons.  First, the smaller the fish, the fewer contaminents the fish will contain, and less fat they will have on them.  The fish will taste much better!  Secondly, a fish has to be pretty smart and have good adapting skills to live long enough to become a tropy fish.  That fish has superior DNA and if that fish is allowed to reproduce, its offspring will, in turn, be more likely to survive longer to become a trophy itself.  Reproductions of trophies are amazingly accurate, and don't harm the fisheries in the proccess.  PLEASE be selective and do not kill a fish unless you are going to eat it.  Let's leave some for our kids.

I thought, that for my sake, and maybe yours too, that I would start a fishing log with as much information as possible to help myself, and maybe you too, to develop and recognize trends in fishing patterns.  There are two places I fish that will remain undisclosed, but the rest of them, I don't mind sharing with you.
